Hi Peeps , can i clean and polish ,wax my van even though i had it coated in suguard.

The Polish will probably lift the coating that’s on there.
If it is still protected that is.

Hi Silver the coating was put on about 3.5 weeks a go. Not to sure if i should just hose it down and wax it.

Yes do not polish it.

Use a good quality shampoo with or without carnauba in it.

I would then dry it with a good quality microfibre cloth.

Then use wax or a quick detailing product.

If you want to push the boat out get some 3m boat wax.
It’s designed for grp hulls so ideal for Moho.
It has anti uv properties 👍

It’s not cheap though 🙄

Use a shampoo which is PH Neutral and always use a microfiber wash mitt and not a sponge (as the sponge creates friction and it is quite abrasive on any shiny coated surface).

All the best,

Andrew

Made the mistake of using a 240volt car polisher with standard T-Cut on our twenty year old van. Strayed over the decals then found I had spread a faint blue colour from the decal all over the white polyester skin. Been trying to polish it off without any real success. Not sure if I should use any solvent on the skin.
