We are down for this rally and will send over the deposit - do have an issue with our motorhome tho! Last 3 rallies (last one was Old Mo’s) we had to be towed off (Chester was on as well!) the fields.

Our towing eye can no longer be attached to our frame and is proving problematic in solving, hopefully by late summer. What is the ground like at this rally ? We will not be able to be towed under any circumstances for a while but do not want to have to cancel the next 3 /4 rallies and trips we have booked.

Thank you

Slightly panicking Dawn

Hi Dawn, @Rosemary1

If I have to push the Van off the field myself I'll do it. (and that's a promise,) but there are other places on the front of a vehicle, other than the towing eye where a strap/rope can be placed. The ground is hard and flat and will not cause a problem. Worry not.

Regards

@Rosemary1 don't panic as the towing eye is actually not suited to pulling such a heavy vehicle. there are other better ways of getting a vehicle out of mud

Thanks for that - hubby has researched since our issue and agrees that not really suitable but we tried all sorts since getting this van (got stuck everytime we have been out in it (only purchased last autumn tho) - may have to look at a tow bar on back but is an automatic and not sure if can be towed backwards? And of course yet more weight. We did manually get it moving from snow in Staffordshire but have about 10 strong kind funsters who were pushing:D

@Doombar41,

You are more than Welcome. We have space.

First question, Do you want Lekky or without.

Once that hurdle has been answered I'll send you a PM (A Conversation). That will appear top right of the page under "Inbox"
In that I'll send you details of how/who to pay the deposit.

Regards
Derek aka Emmitdb

For the information of all attendees of the Rally.

I will be asking for the remainder of the money for this Rally on the 1st July.
This will allow me to deal with the 'Financials' without having a 'Vanful of Cash.

Thank you in advance for your understanding (The OP has been amended.)

Regards

We have decided to open this Rally up to Funsters who can't stay for the whole week.

If you would like to stay for a few nights, a weekend, or even overnight on your way further down to the 'Pointy Bit' feel free to get in touch.

Have just suggested the Cider & Skittle Rally here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...6-july-booking-now.169467/page-6#post-2867179 & here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...ble-message-now-for-your-space.157555/page-18 as hopefully it might encourage a few more to venture down south :)
If you have a big enough field than maybe open this up to RVOC members too? I can post a link to this Rally on their forum if you do want this.

Hi Guys
We are shown down for whole trip but would like to change it please to a shorter trip.
I don’t know how difficult to organise this will be.
Shown as having EHU at the moment.
We would like to arrive on 11th and leaving on Sunday 15th but having the whole day on site.
If EHU is too difficult and we have to be off site by lunch then we can live with it.
Regards
Jan and Bob
