Damp is the main problem to look for and check the payload as some of those 6 berth 3500kg vans must be illegal when loaded for a holiday .

Yes I was wondering about the damp... Will it normally be around the toilet / shower area?

Walls need to be checked with a damp meter. I have no knowledge of this individual model . I did however google search it and you need it check the over cab bed under the mattress as there isn’t a slatted bed base and mold can accumulate here .

I had a 2008 CI Carioca 746 from new for 3 years, its an entry level motorhome, but and its a BIG BUT! the build quality is poor. Make sure that you check not only for damp but also any internal panel delamination. The shower floor, and also look at the habitation door fit and locker doors and hinges for poor fit and allowing water in.

It spent a lot of time getting warranty work done to put things right.. however, i would guess that they are not all like the one we had..

the plus point was ours was on a heavy chassis i.e 4.5T so the payload was well over 1T.

I had a 625 (05) which if memory serves me right was 6.2m long and 5 berth.

If thats correct and the 656 is 6.5m wide and 6 berth then weight is the issue to look at and ensure new potential owner had read the threads on here and understood them. It might also be a 6 berth but 4 or 5 seat belts.

Damp is the other thing but CI are really good value for money at the less expensive end of the market. They do a job and we had ours for 7 years. I would not put somebody off buying one

Thanks for that
