We are thinking of spending Christmas and New Year in Cornwall and looking for recommendations for sites which have good walks and dog friendly pub within walking distance of the site. Many thanks

We are booked at this site from the 28th until the new year https://carnonwollastouringpark.co.uk/

Adults only and about 1/2 a mile to the pub😁

Did try for ages before I found any availability.

Good luck.

Thank you, sounds perfect

Ayr Holiday Park, St Ives.

Expensive and a bit of a hill into town (and even bigger coming back) but fabulous walks along the cliffs and amazing street party on NYE - though whether that will happen this year is anyone's guess!

Tried Nearly all the sites down that way but they were either closed in November or full.
Was going to Bath Chew but within 30 mins of thinking about it the pitches went.

If on your travels while there, you happen to travel through either Perren-ar-worthal on the A39 or Ponsanooth on the A393, and you are a real ale man, wellll!

Pop into the "Dynamite Valley Brewery" @ the Viaduct Works Frog Hill TR3 7 JW. Run by a couple of young jokers , got together in 2014 started producing in 2015

Any of you scruffy lot living in Cornwall and like a bleddy excellent Real Ale, I can recommend these jokers .
