Crossed into Sweden this morning over the bridge from Denmark. We were checked …. Not us Sam, they wanted to see his paperwork AHC + his vaccinations Rabies etc. all good wished us well. That’s a first for us.

Before we headed into Finland we got the additional fox worm tablet for our dog and her passport endorsed at a vets near Haparanda I asked the vet what happens if someone crosses without the extra tablet and she told me the dog can be seized also a fine or worse case scenario euthanized. We were not checked but for £20 why would people risk it?

We have a vet to call at for worming prior to going into Norway

Is this the same procedure as needed for crossing into Norway from Sweden? Do you know if it's just Norway & Finland that require the fox worm tablet?

Thanks👍

Went into Sweden in June, similar thing, they glanced at our passports but scrutinised the dog's health certificate. They also checked he had a harness and was clipped in/secured.
They asked if we had alcohol, we replies yes, for personal consumption. They were happy with that.
