chausson welcome
I recently purchased this camper in good condition. i would like to find a manual about it. operating the heater and the boiler are a bit of a mystery! i have questions about the engine too. is there a 1999 "welcome" group i could speak with please? new member, Albouy

If you post the name of those appliances someone will come along who has an old manual or with info on where to find it.
If the name isn't obvious a photo might suffice?

Hello and welcome, I expect you will get a reply here , but there is a Chausson section within Continental models if you scroll down the Forums heading you will come across it , you could look there as well.

Thanks you guys above. Got a leak in my water tank or nearby. Put water in and out it came under the van. Anyone had expirience finding and maybe taking the tank out? Fiat Ducato Chausson Welcome 1999 TD1.9.

Are you sure it’s not the drain down valve from the boiler that is open

Is it the fresh water tank drain? There should be a 15mm push fit stop end on the pipe, is it missing?

Sorry guys but i haven't had the camper very long and i haven't looked 'under the floorboards' yet so i have no idea where these things are yet. only recently found the grey water tap...i appreciate your help.

Inside the van locate the boiler, maybe under a seat. Look outside van for the exhaust vent. When you look by the boiler you will see a tap, this is the drain down check it’s not left open

Just another thought, on our first van the drain down valve was mounted inside the freshwater tank. Open the large cap on top of the tank ( probably under one of the seats) and look inside. If you have a handle operated plunger in the bottom of the tank, it could be not seated correctly. Check the overcentre lever is fully closed, if it is take out and check condition of the rubber bung
Good luck

:welcome4: I have a Chausson 610 and I cannot add anything to what the very knowledgably posters have already said.
