Chausson 04 shower floor (1 Viewer)

Out in this warm weather we were suddenly confronted with a rank smell from the toilet area. It took some tracing and when we poured water down the shower drain it ran out from under the shower floor! I think a rat or probably mouse has made a nest under the shower floor and died there and possibly chewed the drain pipe, hence the leak.
Question, has anyone ever tried to repair this pipe or dare I say, move the floor for access . Dreading the replies!

Photos would help, sounds like a major job and you will have to remove the shower tray & possibly the shower wall linings to get the tray out.
