Just spoken at length with a representative of the trust, with regard to overnight parking. She informed me that this is allowed as long as they are made aware of your registration no, so that it can be passed on to their security. She also informed me that they had recently been in discussion regarding this idea at a meeting. I informed her of the system in operation at Old Dover Road Canterbury with which she was not aware. I also pointed out the benefits to other local points of interest such as the Royal Engineers Museum, Rochester Cathedral and Castle. There are also forthcoming events such as the Rochester Christmas Fair and Dickensian Christmas Parade. She was also informed by the way that Aires work on the continent and how our needs are different to those of people that tow caravans. The lady I spoke to appeared very keen to look into this further. Hopefully I put up a strong case and there will be a favourable outcome.

Excellent. Nicely done

We stayed there overnight a few weeks ago, there was a thread running about it. (it's also listed on Search For Sites).

Plenty of places within walking distance to eat in the evening too.

Try going to Rochester when the Dickens festival is on you will never forget it wonderful
I lived in central Rochester for a few years about 20 years ago.

I thought the Dickens Festivals were awful. Great in the day but the booze takes over later.

If you like your military museums then the Royal Engineers Museum is first class. We haven’t visited for a few years now, but I think it‘s well overdue another visit soon. (y)
