The dog was having its yearly MOT and service this morning and I asked our vet about the AHC's that are being implemented for European travel and how much etc.
She said everything is pretty much up in the air at the moment, they haven't seen the forms as yet, but estimated they will be about £80 each but that will possibly be competitive with other local vets so could vary slightly.
The cost of a rabies jab will be separate from the certificate. She believes there is still confusion if each country will accept the AH certificate on its own and you will not require any type of add on cost or extra to get over that individual border.
Looking at the Gov website this wording would appear to be the case:
Check the rules of the country you’re travelling to for any additional restrictions or requirements before you travel.
