I have a Motorhome in storage where the habitation and vehicle batteries are charged via a dual charger and 140 Watt Solar Panels. Should I be in a situation where I was unable to use the vehicle for a period of 3 - 4 months, will the batteries maintain their correct levels over a long period of time.
If the batteries become drained whilst the Solar Panels are still trying to charge them, does this cause the batteries to gas or any other damage. I was thinking of disconnecting both batteries or pull out the fuse from the charger (although I'm not sure where the fuse is). I have regularly used the van over winter and the batteries are in good condition. I'd really appreciate some advice as to what are my best options.

I'd be quite optimistic that 14W of solar panel would probably keep your batteries topped up in storage outdoors. So 140W should be plenty.

As above...
Providing you get some sun and there are no structures close by to cast shadows over the panel.
You aren't using battery power to any real extent so even a few sunless days shouldnt be a drama.
