Cat 5 or 6 tracker insisted on by Comfort, any help on choosing would be appreciated.

The very fact that they have said a five or six highlights the fact they don't know what they're on about, find a cat 6 that your happy with and ask comfort if it's acceptable to them, get an email to confirm, job done. You have to pay a charge for monitoring which I understand is much more for cat 5 as it's constantly actively monitored. I have a cat 6 and also an iPhone app which also monitors. Insurance company were happy with that. Think it was about £200 plus £300 for 5 year tracking subscription.

Cat6 is cheaper and the yearly subscription is a lot less
