Cassette Empty point open at Loch Lomond

Allegedly there is now an emptying point in commission at the loos beside Tarbet at the A82 junction.

Not ‘officially’ open yet...

I’m assured it is

Parked just up the road at the excellent Slanj along with 3 other moho’s but have an early start so won’t be able to check it out - but will try on the way home and report back...

I can report that this facility is fully open..

Not perfect as the lift up cover hinges the wrong way for dumping grey water and you need to do a three point turn to get back out easily and safely. Also there is no hose connector or adapter on the water tap.
I bunged all my change into the donations box- a grand total of £2.24. I hope they don’t think some tight gits shoved 2p in each....

But.... it’s better than what wasn’t there before.

It is indeed.

Along with the excellent people at the Slanj Bar just up the road giving free MoHo parking to guests , their great food, delicious beer with 24 hr access to the loos not to mention the warm welcome - it’s become a very friendly place for us.

The Slanj is a bit a hit or miss. They aren't supposed to run meets of 29 motorhomes squashed together. Whose liable in the event of a fire? No licence. Not been that keen on their menu or service but the wilding spot is fab.
