I'm away in Cornwall at the moment at Trewethett Farm to reflect and recouperate after my mother's cremetion on Tuesday (and to finally get some much needed sleep). It was a lovely hot sunny day with the amazing view here, but later in the evening I was sorry to see a message from my home estate's WhatsApp group that they could see the northern lights.. And I missed it šŸ˜ž....
So I thought I'd pop outside to see if we could see it in Tintagel. I was greeted with a lovely sight of the moon reflecting on the millpond-like sea, special in itself... But with the camera on nightmode a whole new experience was revealed. I kept watching for around 90 mins... Truly a special experience and something I have always wanted to see since I was a kid. Sadly the one person I wanted to share it with is no longer with me šŸ˜„. I understand there might be more flares tonight - they are not really visible to naked eye but with camera on nightmode - wow!
