Could anyone who has used Canterbury P&R tell me roughly how long the driving time is to the Eurotunnel Terminal, please?

Depends on the time you leave the park and ride. I allow 40 minutes. Canterbury is a nightmare berween 8 and 9 am traffic wise

It's never taken me longer than 25 minutes.

Take the first left off of the roundabout out of the P&R, Old Dover Road, then turn left at the lights by the cricket ground, Nackington Road the B2068, then just stay on that road and you will come to J11 of the M20. The tunnel terminal is J11A.

The B road is 2 lanes, perfectly suitable for large vehicles.

I agree that's the route I use.

Many thanks to all.

Our crossing is at 1020hrs so plenty of time.

I agree with NickNic, out the gate turn left first left at First lights, before the cricket ground onto the Nackington Road and straight (Really straight Roman road) .on for miles past the nice parking area at Farthing Common and down the hill to the M20 turn left and next slip road and into Eurotunnel.
You could Wildcamp at Farthing Common if you wanted to, many do.
I personally do not as I live 6 miles from the tunnel, but haven't ever used it or the ferries yet.

Thanks @GWAYGWAY
We will stay at the P&R as we will use the Pub for a last English meal before heading to France and beyond for six months.:)

@maison don't know if it matters to you but the pub outside the P&R is not dog friendly.

If you have some spare time walk down the old road, past the cricket ground and the second pub you come to is the Phoenix. It's a great little pub and about a mile walk.

Avoid the first one opposite the cricket ground.

Sorry to disagree but the pub next to the P&R is dog friendly, well it was in late December, you had too sit in un-carpeted area which you had to get to by going through none dog area!! But we found the food expensive and we weren't overly impressed, next time we will walk into town.

It may have changed then although I've never seen a dog in there. The first time we went there we asked if we could bring the dogs in and were told no, definitely not. We haven't asked again since.

The food seems to be hit and miss. I don't think it's particularly expensive but the standard and service seem to vary according to how busy they are. We've eaten there a couple of time when it's been quiet and the food has been great.

If you just want a beer the Phoenix is an infinitely better choice either way.
