Hi All,

New motor home picked up last weekend so today I’m tinkering. It’s an 06 Lunar on a ducato but there’s plenty I don’t know about.
Some of these switches are easy to understand and the book helps but I’ve no idea what the “car / van” switch is for because it’s got 3 positions??

Also the “Aux / on” switch??

many clues

Looks like they have used the same panel as in their caravans.
At a guess, on Van the lights and other habitation electrics will be powered from the habitation battery. On Car they will be powered by the starter battery.
2nd guess it could just be for charging and the mains charger will charge which battery it is switched to.
Should be easy to find out by monitoring battery voltages and turning a few things on.
Not got a clue on the Aux.

Hi siblo

The Car/Van switch will be which battery supplies the habitation, you would normally use in on Van but could use car in an emergency, I guess the middle position is off.

I wonder if there is a socket somewhere that is switched by the "aux"

Thanks guys, my guess was use habitation battery or engine battery, central rocker position confused me.

I suppose I better get my tester out.

funflair got the three way rocker switch right,
One way is engine battery powering the habitat area, the other way - “normal” choice - the hab battery is used. The central position is “all off”/ isolated.

The battery/water is choosing what the scale/meter is measuring.
Not sure about what the Volts/On switch does 🤔
