Can anyone help identify the plumbing parts I need?

I want to fit a 3M AP2 water filter under our sink. The filter head has 1/4" push-fit connectors. The plumbing in my motorhome has flexi hoses as pictured below.

I don't really know what the parts are called, so I'm not sure what to Google, to work out what to buy. I guess I need some 1/4" (is this the same as 12mm?) semi-rigid pipe to attach to the filter head, and then I need to splice both ends into the cold water feed, which you can see in the photo. I'm not sure what the metal ends on the flexi hose are, either. Perhaps these are another kind of push-fit system?
