Looking to go a way with the family in July for a few days. We will go in our motorhome but they will need accommodation - Glamp or Cabin type. Looking around the Leicestershire, Rutland type area. Somewhere nice with stuff for the children x 3 (6 - 1 years). Any ideas please.

Further north perhaps too far Holgates at Silverdale Lancashire is a good site has pitches for tourers and camping pods to hire. Also great facilities pool complex etc nice walking etc.

This is one of our favourite campsites - the play area is fun for kids but it is more natural based rather than having entertainment laid on ... https://www.brookmeadow.co.uk/

Skegness is always good for kids - Skegness Water Leisure Park - Camping Pods - you can park the van next to them

Different area, but we have taken grandkids to C&CC site at Scarborough for past 10 years it's a bit of a walk to the beach, think the cliff path is a bit hairy for kids, well not them but the folk with them. sea life centre, lpamare swimming centre, we take them to a show, always loads of other kids and they have made some good friends. They have ready tents which our friends used last year enough room for 12 of us to eat although some were on the veranda.
Will be going again this year but just with the 2 youngest grandchildren, teenage girls grow up fast.

Just been on the website for Brook Meadow Leicestershire - looked fab. All 3 lodges already booked for our dates in July! Shame. Still looking at the others. Many thanks to all.

Give them a call. They have lodges and pods and might have a waiting list.

Is that the one as you go into Scarborough with the pub next door, Scalby Manor or something, cheap food though
