A huge thank you to those funsters who had recommended a visit to The Elephant and The Machines, just spent a fascinating day there, would highly recommend.

Also Camping Nantes, fully booked for every night for the next 2 weeks, told at reception that if you don’t forward book for June,July and August you have very little chance of getting on.

Interestingly there is a Camping Car Aire attached to the site, barely half full, Campsite almost completely Motorhomes.

Pricing for site is 31€, Asci 23€ and aire 13.50€.

If you want to ride on the elephant you might want to prebook your tickets online. We were there at 10.15, quite a queue for tickets and we got on the 12.30 time slot but only just!

Don't forget to catch the little tourist train from outside the cathedral. They have a written English guide if you ask.
