Hi, I am retired from the NHS and wish to spend time travelling the UK and beyond. I am a keen Aurora (Northern Lights) chaser having visited the Arctic Circle a number of times and am VERY new and amateur star watcher. I have not owned a CamperVan / Motorhome before so am looking forward to learning from all your experience and getting to know you.

It sounds as though you might need a well insulated van with good heating, in order to follow your winter passion.

Always an exciting time choosing what camper / MH to get.

Welcome...sounds like a good hobby..

Welcome. Take your time and layout is king. You can always get gaskets and things but if the van is bigger than your comfortable driving it won't get used the same. If you chose a small van but there is nowhere to store your gear and the seat aren't comfy so pleasure of driving a compact van is lost when your parked up. Visit dealers and try living in the different types of van for 20mins at least in your head. If possible hire some you will soon focus your priorities having spent some time inside .
