Yes 3 is all the CaMC have. I think last year was the first year they had any. The Caravan and camping club have a much bigger selection of ' temporary holiday sites' and locally organised rallies that any member can use at much more economical prices.followed that link for pop ups and they list 3 is that it or are there ,ore if your a member? are pop ups a new name for ths? weve been toying with the idea of joining a club but it seems you cant actually see what your getting uintil youve paid
For £35 a night I would expect room service and breakfast in bedWent to the Beaulieu one 2 weeks ago and the facilities including EHU are as good if not better than the fixed sites.
Maybe three pop ups, but CAMC do have many temp hol sites. There is a booklet you can request or download from their website. Quite a few with electric hook up too.Yes 3 is all the CaMC have. I canimagine what that sounds like .and big generators supplying hook ups on all the pitches
i assume its only available to members?Maybe three pop ups, but CAMC do have many temp hol sites. There is a booklet you can request or download from their website. Quite a few with electric hook up too.
To be fair they were very quiet and were sited quite a way from the nearest pitch.I canimagine what that sounds like .
Afraid so.i assume its only available to members?
That's interesting, how do you find out about them?Considering I've stayed at Beaulieu a couple of times in the last couple of years for £12 per night, I think I'll say 'no thanks' to the temporary site and stay there as part of one of the estate's own run events when it suits, at far lower cost.
Never knew either and even after going on the site I still can't find them. Can you give me a hint?Well every day is a school day. Just done a search and found a huge list, I've been a member of the CaMC for several years and didn't know that. In fact I Joined the CaCC this year specifically because the had temporary sites. Why do the CaMC make it so difficult to find the information?

No you don’t, I’ve just spent 2.5 wks down in Dorset. We are in N Wales centre. You can apply a centre to yourselves, done yearly, costs nothing. All it means is you get the details of that particular centres rallit’seven more confused firstly i thought ths would run for weeks rather than days?
big list on the pdf but you have to belong to the local center to use them so realisticly only a limited choice? we did belong to one of the clubs before but found it very confusing as every thing we ever tried to book was full or not in our area
I keep an eye on their website, or hear about things through various VW forums. I've stayed overnight as part of VW T-Chill, and also after Simply VW. Both enjoyable events. No option for EHU at either, but for just one or two nights that's no issue. They have plenty of other events annually, too, so it's not only VW things. I'm not sure there has been event camping this year after their own events due to the various uncertainties, but I'm hoping there will be again next year. That's interesting, how do you find out about them?
