We are looking to pootle down the French coast from Calais to meet friends in Honfleur, probably down the D940 and D925 and wondered if anybody had suggestions for nice Aires, campsites etc. they had stayed on and any places of interest or nice towns, villages to visit along the route or just off it

We have 7 days and it's only 200 miles so looking for plenty of places to stop and visit

Thanks in anticipation

Fecamp is a bit out of the way but very nice town on the coast free Aire with water and emptying also ablock of toilets if you need them within very easy walk of the town.

Not directly on the coast but not far off your route there's a lovely site at Montreuil - 'La Fontaine des Clercs'. The town was the inspiration for Les Miserables and there are some fantastic streets that make you feel like you're in a film set - it's really atmospheric around dusk and later. The site's just below the Citadel, again well worth a visit. Also had the nicest coffee I've ever tasted in a cafe here and it was less than 2 euros!

You could deviate a little and go to see monet's garden.
There is (or was a few years ago) a campingcar section of the main carpark in Givernay. You can overnight there. No facilities but flat, grassy area. Plenty of space and quiet once the tourists go home 🤔😉. Lovely place to walk around. If you want to visit the gardens BOOK AHEAD. The queue in the summer and at weekends are long.

Thanks for the suggestions
