I had exactly the same problem with MY OWN doctor (she f****ed up the paperwork) back in 2019, again far to long a story to go into here, eventually came through after I’d resent the paperwork in 6 times (express delivery £6.00 each post)

i will never use D4Drivers ever again. their response to the problems was more about protecting the reputation of the doctor than sorting out the issue they caused. had to do it all myself and with added costs.

Nobody was more surprised than me.
We registered/recorded?? the envelope at 11.30am last Monday. I checked the DVLA licence section at 10am today and walla, C1 C1E there. I wasn't on Friday afternoon.
The V5 change of ownership took 3 months.
Thanks to the guy who posted the DVLA Licence section, great help.

My wife, myself & my mate used our local D4Drivers without any problems.

you are probably correct Lenny HB , its just really frustrating that the mistakes made on the forms were real school kid errors, but created a plethora of problems.

my biggest gripe is not that there were mistakes but the lack of support to put them right. we all make mistakes its a fact of life. but its how we deal with those mistakes is what is key.

make sure you are upto speed with which boxes the doctor is ticking. a simple tick in the wrong box can be a major issue.
and its not like you can go back to the doctor to get it sorted , they do not keep any records of the medical so i would scan / photo copy them before you send them to DVLA for evidence just in case you have a problem.
