When my batteries are full and my van is taking solar energy in my rear speakers are buzzing! They don’t buzz when it’s dark.
Any ideas??
Unfortunately I haven’t got a clue when it comes to anything technical.

Sounds like the speakers are picking up RF interference from the solar controller.
All connections need checking for tightness first.

Would it be the speakers or the head unit?

Thanks, what is RF?

May need a good old Suppressor on your radio head unit or power line. Can't recall where they fit , power or aerial...

Sorry Aly, just seen this.

RF interference is stray and unwanted radio waves caused by poorly suppressed electrical appliances.... Motors, spark plugs etc.
The usual cure is a ferrite ring in the power wire to the radio.
A ferrite ring is like a small donut which you loop the radios power wire through a few times.
It may be worth fitting one on the solar controller positive wire to the battery as well.
Not sure if that will make any difference but for what they cost its worth a try.

Search ebay for ferrite ring.
