Hi...... We are having to buy new chairs and a table...... any suggestions where is the best place to look, getting fed up of looking at various suppliers. all best and cheapest but a huge difference in price........ I need to travel North soon to visit and am being told Winfield Outdoors is a good option ??????

I really wish there was a lightweight one with a hole for a parasol like in the plastic ones or the old folding metal ones with the four seats attached we used when camping when the children were small. I’ve never understood why they don’t. We are always on the lookout for one so will be following your thread!

Maybe you could consider drilling a hole in the table to accommodate a parasol, so long as it doesn't interfere/compromise the overall structure of the table, it should be fine.

Our DIY skills are somewhat limited! I understand the theory involved in doing this to our aluminium table but to do it in real life, oh no, the table would be destroyed and I would be repairing me or Nick. I have sutured my own leg so that wouldn’t be a problem....

Incase you change your mind..........
The tool is £6.50 from Screwfix, you just attach to a drill.
What could possibly go wrong?, You could only lose a couple of fingers and a treasured table..
Good luck ;)

Out of stock though. 🙄

My beloved grandson was badly scalded by a pot of tea when a similar table as above collapsed on one corner as he walked past. I dread to think what would have happened if he had been sitting at it. He was very lucky not to have been scarred - his leg was very blistered and he needed hospital treatment. Not seen one of these tables for years thank goodness

We have bought quite a lot from Winfields Outdoors, on line, found them excellent. I wish Outwell still made the Windsor Hills recliners which fold in to a roll and are ideal for a motorhome. Discontinued now but they were ideal.

We just bought one of these from Amazon, we haven't used it yet but it does look well put together and nice and light.

Winfields of Haslingdon great place to go for all camping needs last time there they had a good selection of tables and quite a few chairs, also good for clothes if you need any and coming from down south you might want to but some extra waterproofs 😂😂 check their web site might pick up a opening offer bargain .

If you are travelling north and then picking up M5 north of Bristol, Attwoolls is a very extensive store.

Winfields is good, we got our last table and chairs from them, was great being able to try the chairs and move them to tables to make sure they were good for meals as well as lounging.

Dukdalf.
Not cheap, but comfortable, durable and lightweight.
We store ours on the wardrobe.
But choose size and configuration carefully as there is a large choice.
Mitch.
