Buying and shipping from USA

Hi all,I'm new to this forum so please bear with me.
I'm considering buying and shipping over to the UK an american RV - does anyone know and could advise me on how to obtain temporary motor insurance from pick up to delivery to the docks ?

Im assuming your talking out delivery to the docks in the USA???

If so ask the supplier to ship it to the docks for you in with the deal.

I'd extend that coverage to include the trip across the Atlantic and unloading in the UK. See here.
