Buying a motorhome

Hi we’re looking for a motorhome for 2 of us around 20 k. Any ideas

this bit of advice you will hear lots of times try and view as many vans a spossible layout is the key factor what you think you want and what actually want are rarely the same thing then llok at paylod as that can be exceeded fairly quickly the look at layout again the is a guide on here on here about buying used mororhomes but im not clever enough to find it but im sure somene wil be along shortly who copy and paste it for you

Lots of things to consider. Will it be occasional weekend use and holidays or longer term touring? Layout is a key issue to consider. Maybe you would prefer a smaller van or Panel van rather than large coach built if its for shorter trips. For longer ones even for two go as big as possible. Payload is also a big consideration which is how much weight you can carry legally.

See as many as possible before you decide on what suits your needs best.

Consider buying private as your budget is going to curtail your options a bit I think. You will be looking at at least 20 years old I would think which is fine. Some good older vans out there.

Dont be afraid to ask lots of questions.

Have a look in the Classifieds on Here, would have thought well looked after Vans & Members on Here. As said Layout is a BIG issue , got have a look around a few Dealers, don't know where your located , but if near Wem in Shropshire , Jason "The Motorhome Man " on YouTube has some reasonable Vans on & makes sure there Good to go
