Burstner Screen Door slams ?

The mesh inner (hab) door on my Burstner has a strange sliding gadget which appears intended to be some sort of a latch/catch.

problem is - it could not possibly work as designed.

The door frame it should latch behind is approx 20mm too thick for the 5mm slot provided by the slider.

Has anyone found a realistic solution to the problem of keeping the screen door sealed against the wee biting beasties ?

hello - i'm not sure if you resolve this but i have a similar issue. It seems the flatscreen slides up and out of the runners and then rotates so the thicker side is visible and looks like it couldn't possibly fit. I'd be interested to see what the outcome was - cheers

Not sure that any "screen" fitted to a MH will protect from the "Wee Beasties" that are prevalent "Ooop North", only "No See Um" will provide a little respite from them...!
