Help please…

Our control panel stoped beeping when the engine it’s turned on with electrics on.

We used to get a beep alarm on the panel if we didn’t turn the electrics off before switching engine on but this stopped

Any ideas? What to look for ?

Are you getting the extra power (14v ish) to your hab batteries once started?
Is your fridge still switching to 12v once engine started?

So everything working as should just no sound.

What panel/ebl have you got. You may just be able to turn audible warnings off in some secret menu.

I believe its called reich ebox, Not sure through. I’ve looked through the options but wasn’t able to find a solution. Cheers though

Just in case you didn't know, if it's on ehu, but not switched on/supplying power, then it doesn't recognise that it's plugged in and therefore no beep.
Does it show you as plugged in to the mains when you look at the panel ?

Hi, thanks for the info.

The beep worked even when not on EHU.
It will beep every time we started the engine without turning the 12V electrics off from the reich screen panel - an alarm would sound to alert we didn’t turn the 12V supply off.

However this has not stoped and cannot find the cause 🥲

We have the Reich eBox in ours and it only beeps on startup if the ehu is plugged in and is switched on.
It does beep every couple of minutes while driving if we are low on freshwater (especially on twisty roads) so we normally go to the instrument display and switch off the fresh water pump to stop that beeping.
Don't think I've physically switched our eBox off since I fitted the solar panels about 8 years ago ?

Thanks for that 👍 the message we used to get was regarding a door open when we started the engine without turning the e-display off. We always thought it was a generic warning to alert 12V system was turned on
