Burstner Brevio pull down bed

I’ve just got my 2015 Brevio. It’s amazing but the pull down bed is super heavy ( especially going back up). Does anyone know how I can ease the mechanism to make moving it easier.

Not sure if it's gas strut assisted, but if it is, then one or more may have failed.
