£6 per night or £10 with hookup, hard standing available. Small (single !) toilet block. Very rural yet only about 4 miles outside of Ipswich. Recycling facilities and lots of local footpaths across the fields etc.

I have sent a longer review to moonfruit wild camping, as that's where I found the site and it's a resource I highly recommend, it will prob be a few days before it's 'live' (perhaps a bit sooner if a certain Funster reads this post)

We stay on this site everything we visit family in the area. About four times a year. It is a little cracker. Walk to the local pub across the fields (footpath) in ten minutes. We regularly watch half a dozen hares feeding on the site in the evening.

Our Weimaraner spotted them last night, we had him on a long lead as usual when sat out, suddenly he stood up and we knew he had seen something, then we also spotted them frolicking. We often see them from the bedroom windows running in the field opposite at home (and so do the hare coursers!) The dog just stood there last night, no attempt to chase them, but we retired indoors just to make sure!

It's a nice little site as you say, perfect for chilling, had a great nights sleep, very quiet.

Thank for posting
Do you need to belong to any club , I see it’s listed as MCC

we werent asked for any membership details either when booking or on arrival. i rang them direct and they were very helpful and friendly

Just to add, plenty of space if youve got a 'toad' - it's mainly a single lane track but as it's a dead end lane not too much traffic to be concerned about, neither should length be an issue along the lane. There's a couple of caravans that seem to be stored here and what looks like at least one full timer in a converted truck plus poss someone in a 20 plate who might also be full timing but not necessarily on this site.

Sat having coffee before leaving, spotted a couple more hares and two pheasants calmly walking around the Moho !!

If you go onto moonfruit wild camping and the section of sites for less than £15, you will find co ordinates etc on there, although our sat Nav or the postcode wasn't too accurate. Check on Google maps beforehand, it's worth it !!

MrB, looked up Moonfruit wild camping, takes me to a page that says:-

Sorry, this page cannot be found.
