I have a pair as new sitting in my garage after fitting air assist to the rear mines a 2012 but I would lay money they are the same.
2 x ifs for you...
1. If you can wait as I'm travelling, currently in Spain. Untill late june
2. If you pay the postage
Then they are yours.

Check out Timbren Aeon spring assisters . I fitted them to my van ( 4500 kilos ) , they made a massive improvment to the handling, easy to fit in place of the bump stops and around £100 when I did mine 7 years ago.

Are these an MOT failure if not complete or damaged in any way.?

My 2007 van's "assistors" looked worse than that when I replaced them with semi-air. It's not good for them if the van is resting on them all the time, which frequently happens with PVCs.

Oh and hit it hard in the correct direction

Mine came lose first good hit.

Very little effort required. Chisel in a notch on the collar and a couple of taps and they span right off.
