Rimor Seal 5
Exp
02-02-20
Hi all.
Hope your all well and getting Moho ready for an outing.
As some may know I have a Rimor seal 5 and on the first and only outing.
Around the sink in the bathroom was quite a gap.
Brushing my teeth thought that's a big gap that water could hide in.
When out today with a tube of clear silicone.
Upon checking the shower cubicle was the only thing sealed.
Nothing around the sink toilet or floor.
So if there was a seem it got sealed even inside the top cupboard and sink vanity.
Then I turned my attention to the sink and cooker area nothing again so that's the next job.
Ordered more usb outlets as I used the two I had in the front see pic.
And fitted the TV bracket I got of Tucano.

Looks like you’ve been busy.
Shame they didn’t build it properly in the first place though.
Let’s hope that they didn’t miss any really important work.

Our bathroom sink wasnt sealed i think it is so if you need to remove the sink or vanity unit you dont damage the wall coverings as not ceramic tiled. That said i sealed mine with silicone. The kitchen worktops have removable angle seals.

It just go's to show you must proof read before posting.
Here the pics I forgotten.

And a couple of things I noticed while playing in the Moho yesterday.
The first thing was the habitation battery was flat?
That's funny I thought as its plugged into the mains.
Stuck my bonce under the sink and the incoming RCD is on.
First thing is it flat or a mains fuse gone in the battery compartment.
Out came the trustee multimeter and yes it's flat?
Right into the garage it's plugged into the shocket BUT the wrong switch turned on.
Iii have too get my eyes checked.
With the right one switched on alls well.
As I had the multimeter out thought I'd find the output for the outside light that was not fitted.
( victor mildrew ) cant believe it.
Such an essential bit of kit was left off.
I have some LED strip lights left over from when I did the kitchen that will do the trick ?

Any ways just want to go over a couple of things cos you lot will know more than me.
Me being a newbie an all.
Water on me only outing ( not that am bitter ) gets onto the pitch mains plugged in its time for a brew only cos it was to early for a beer.
Turns the pump on at the control panel above the door an fills the kettle from the tap on the gas ( jobs a good un ) sat drinking my well earned brew thought by that's pump ###### noisy so gets up to turn it off.
Then wife gets up all new fanged al wash up in my new sink?
Twos cups don't wear your self out ?
There's no watter ( turn the pump on ) oooh yes turns on the tap there on watter.
There must be I filled it to overflowing before we left.
I had a go no nowt there looked under the seat where the tank is off with the big red cap bone dry.
So I thought can't undo that.
Puts its all back together and sends her off to the wash area down the ways.
It was starting to get dark an she said come with me so being a caring husband told number two offspring to go with her.
Me and number one spring needed to try out the cooling power ov that new fridge so I let him get me a cold one well he was sat closer to it than me.
Any way now I've got no watter for a shower it's time for me to venture out to the toilet block.
Off I go's lovely shower just to get back in time to cook the tee.
For the rest of the time all went to plan and a nice time was had by all ?

Any ways bact tu job in hand.
Determine not to be beten hose out filled the container with water till overflowing into the van on with the pump lifted the seat and inspection hatch off with the big red cap and all the water is going down?
After a considerable amount of head scratching decided to carry on with the shower sealing.
Then remembered when picking the van up while been given the fastest handover ever.
It was Saturday an the pub was open remember them days eh.
May be its that valve thinggi for the boiler in the cupboard on the other side.
Where's that touch then on me knees again with me head in the cupboard.
Thinking why has it come to this.
Then I see the red button at the back down the bottom.
Pressing it in it keep popping out arrr what's that thing on the top for like all men not to be beten by reading the book turned the knob on the top pressed the button and all stayed in place.
I bet your thinking now how's the knob
After getting up easier said than done off to turn the hose on filled to brimming on with the pump so far so good.
Water at the taps.
Now admiring all my had work in the bathroom with sealing done? ooh wats that blue bottom for O it the toilet flush.
Never knew I had one of them ?
Now by this time my chest is puffed out an I'm on a roll?

Right now it's time for that wall controller to get some off my attention for all things hot.
Time set hot water onto boost not sure why but it looked good.
Leave that for some time doesn't need me to keep guard over it.
Now it's time to put some diesel in as it was low.
Out of the back of my work van the trusted jerry can filled to the top with Sainsbury's finest motion poison.
Well am not that hard to risk getting pulled over by the rozzers.
Well in it go's.
Let's see how where getting on with that water al wash me hands with that hot water bloody hell thats hot.
Right turn the engine on too run it up to temperature.
Good job now it's time for a hover up to make the place ready for when Boris gives us the all clear.

So here's what am after?
How long should the leisure battery last with the main control off.
Do you just leave the water pump on during waking hours.
As it turns off when no taps open or do you only turn it on when needed.
And the gas I've had it turned on since I fitted the bottle or do you turn it on and off.

Now just have to wait for all my eBay purchases to turn up to finish the other little jobs ?

Ironic really that the model is a “SEAL” isn’t it? ?

Av gone of you ?

Funny you should say that the reception was very bad the day I drove it back from picking it up.
Yesterday it was sitting ticking over to run up to temp while I was pottering in the back.
Static it's fine as soon as you drive it waves in and out.
The Ariel is stuck to the window on the near side of the screen.
And did it again today and it's no better or worse so not sure if it's the radio or stick on Ariel not sure of the best way forward ?
Ironic really that the model is a “SEAL” isn’t it? ?
Never thought of it like that ?

Been busy in the Moho fitted a mains shocket in the garage area.
So if warming some finny haddock in the microwave I can lift it out so as not to smell in the hab area.
Bought a 2000watt silent generator.
Made up some more mains leads for the generator.
Fitted more USB shocket some in the front and rear bed area and one in the kitchen top cupboard.
Turned my attention to the outside.
I had cleaned the cab area so attached the box on the back.
On the jointing rails there was a sticky mastic that was all black.
So cleaned all that off have not done the roof yet.
And silicon all over the place and with it all done so time for a coat of polish.
Mite need to remask and reseal some areas again as are starting to go mouldy.
Very poor quality for a van we only picked up four and half months ago.
After the wax the garage is the next place.
