On whim decided to visit Brugge for NYE. Any suggestions where to stay free!

I only know of the Aire next to the bus station, very convenient for Brugge but it may be busy this time of year, enjoy yourself wherever you find :xThumb:

Not free but cheap is the aire in Beernam. About 6 Euro from memory. It's an easy 7 mile or so cycle into Brugge along the canal but we have noticed plenty of wild camping opportunities along the way which would get you a little nearer.

There is another one a little nearer next to an ice cream parlour or something. If I find it, I'll add a link

We’ll be heading there tomorrow and hoping to get onto the Aire at the coach park. Failing that, the back of the coach park is always popular. Don’t know of anywhere that’s free and handy for Brugge.

G7UXG Hi would you pm me if you find some where decent.
Tomorrow night we will be in an aire at Gravelines or near by and in Brugge after that.

regards Colyboy

colyboy I think you can park on the ring road for free, to the east side of the city. Don’t know if that is just day parking or whether it’s OK to stop overnight (trucks park there). Probably noisy and I’m not sure I’d like to stay there overnight. I’ll be using the Aire if I can get on there.

You an, but it’s noisy

Arrived in Brugge at 8pm this evening and managed to get the only available space. Plenty of room on the coach park and lots of motorhomes on there too.
The Aire is in the process of being expanded with about 20 new spaces being added... about time too.
That’s us parked up for the New Year (y)

We stay campingmemling which for us is convenient and easy walk into town but there is an aire just half a mile from memling sure others will know of it
