Happy to help
Well after having our Brittany ferry re-routed from Santander to Cherbourg to arrive Tuesday we arrived in Spain at Zaragoza on Thursday afternoon whilst on route a hgv wandered onto the hard shoulder promptly spraying loose stones up one of which punctured the windscreen near the scuttle. The crack eventually made its way up to the top.
Called our insurer caravan guard who organised a mobile fitter to come to us at Aguilas and carry out the repair.
we have a Pilote P650GJ 2020 on a Fiat Ducato chassis with cab blind to the front.
Does anyone know if a new screen will involve removal of the blinds.

Mine was done from the outside, they didn't go in the van.

Be prepared for a wait after fitting, on bonded in screens the adhesive has to go off before you can drive. Time depends on what they use I believe - a few years ago it was 24 hours but when I've had screens done more recently it's been a few hours only.

I don't recall any need to work inside when my Ducato screen was done.

Thanks for the replies we are here until the Thursday after so should be fine.
