Hi, I'm looking for a site somewhere Roscoff to Morlaix area where I can stop for a couple of nights. Will be a 9m m/h with rally car on trailer, ideally with sealed surface & probably;y a proper site for security. Suggestions please????

I think most sites will be closed this time of year ,or do you mean in some future date.
You could be lucky ,with a big rig with one of the camperstops or park4 nite locations .good luck.

That one did come to mind @Emmit like you say peaceful and a bargain @€6 but on grass and could be a bit tight on the entry /exit

@simbadog you don't need to book and it's a ticket barrier pay and display you can ,I think enter 48hrs put in your reg and follow screen instructions

Was there back in November lovely seeing the mist on the water first thing

Thanks for that :) Just had a look at their site, how do you go about booking & paying???

There's a bit more info here https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=2372 . The latest report on the Searchforsites website indicates that the site has a barrier which I guess you pay to enter/leave with a bank card. There is a local authority phone number also quoted if you have any queries.

@jollyrodger , Don't wish to be argumentative but this site is now of hard standing.
While we were there, there was we in the Emmit household call a 'Wallace Arnold bus" parked up. ie a full size RV. If you go on the Park4night website (www.park4night.com) there is a photo posted on this site showing a line of 'buses' parked up.
Sure, it may be necessary to unhitch the trailer but surely that has to be done in most places. Having said that, it may be possible to do a 'U' turn and park at the end.

@simbadog
As for payment, you take a card from the barrier and pay by credit card on leaving. When we were there, an 'Up his own rectum', (couldn't speak to us up to that point) Englishman had trouble escaping and this Funster spoke to the lady at the Maire by intercom and got him out (we were happy to get rid of him.)

Hi @Emmit ,
Im confused (& that is easy of late )
But Unless they have done a quick makeover we were definitely on grass ,hard packed and a bit worn but it was still hottish plenty of space around this was Nov this year .on the way back
And yes you can certainly gat a RV down and a trailer but a bit tight coming off the road and bad signage there was parking above the barrier with mixed parking with a couple of big vans .
Payment now (November) was before entry ,by card and (reg number ??)
A ticket is generated with a code ,you then enter the code to lift barrier ,you can come and go using that code during the timespan of the ticket .
Perhaps the grass has grown through the hard standing :xgrin:

I can see the bus rally on P4N it was looking like it had just been open 25 places
CC 10 places
S4Sites 5 places ??
Definitely confused :xrofl:

There were bays on the other side of the loo block but roped off when we were there

Hi, @jollyrodger

Nice Photos,

Could I suggest that you turned right (when facing the lake) when entering the Aire.ie Pic 1 and 2

The Aire to the left of the barrier is hard standing. You posted a pic of it, No.3.

In addition, if you go on the Park4night site there is an aerial view, again Pic 3,clearly showing the hard standings, all 19 of them (plus turning circle)

Regards

The main thing is our cousins in France haven't turfed over the Hard Standings. Some decisions made re Aires are beyond understanding.

Thanks everyone :) It's for late May, I'll be on my way to an event!
