We are setting off tomorrow for Skye via Glencoe, haven’t got snow chains for the van but have packed our swimming cosies as well as walking boots

Internet poor too many walks to get on lone but Skye reached! Weather variable ( warm and wet with sun at times !) no midges -locals friendly- roads not packed with vans but pitted with holes . Very moho friendly so far but we are in sites . We have been arriving late as taking 6 hours to do 2 hour drive... many stops for photos will try to post later! Gorgeous beautiful place x

I took the snow chains out of the Motorhome yesterday pleased I'm not going North.

It's coming up to mid May, it'll be midge repellant you'll need, mind you, it might be fun hitting the wee biting critters with a snow shovel???
