Does anyone know for certain whether the Q14 plus the FO advisory mean your breakdown insurance is invalid as well as your travel insurance (unless your personal policy cover FO advisories)?

The only answer youre going to get is "Mine is ok" or "mine is not ok"

You will need to check with your own insurance

As for checking with travel insurance, you would need to explain that you are transiting France and Belgium if you are travelling to Germany. (if you are). It would then take some explaining if you were in Montpellier 5 days after landing in Calais

I reckon most/all continental breakdown cover will be fine.

They kept operating throughout the full lockdown.

Obviously it would be sensible to check with your own provider, but I believe it is only personal travel insurance cover that is affected by FCO advising against all but essential travel.

I was kind of hoping people might say " Mine with XYZ is OK" or "Mine with ABC is not OK" ...

Perhaps I need to word the question more clearly.

Have a look on the German Austria thread as I’ve just confirmed all fine with my companies

OK with Camping & Caravanning Club 'Arrival' provided by the RAC.
