Breakdown Cover

We are going to spain for 6xmonths and want breakdown cover for our car.
I contacted Staysure who said Ok for 180 days, paid my money, when the policy came thro' it was for 90days. Phoned them and was told for 90days only. Not impressed. Refunding my money.
Can anyone help with cover.
I am covered for my MH with caravan Guard, but they do not do private cars.

Britannia Rescue via LV do 180 days European cover for cars. You can get a discount with them if you have other products or used to work for a public organisation such as central government, post office etc.

Had a similar problem in that The AA who I have been with for years upped the premium and won't cover us for long enough unless we pay a separate fee for their European breakdown cover. If you haven't already insured the car then try Saga - they will cover you for 365 days european breakdown cover for much less than The AA even though they use The AA if you breakdown................ ludicrous I know.
