Anybody know when this site in Bowness is re opening seems to be taking a long time to refurbish the site.

No idea I'm afraid, but if you're desperate to stay at Bowness, I think you can park for free on the road outside (Glebe Road ?) up until about the middle of March. You could also overnight in the car park that backs into the campsite for a fee.

Thanks for the reply not desperate to stay there just looking for easter and thought it might be up and running by now.
