I will be travelling north to visit family and wanted to stop at Boroughbridge to break the journey. Normally I can get into the club site but now they are fully booked. So can anyone help as to where I can park around there as I want to have a meal at Morrisons and then breakfast before I leave the next day. So can I park in the town car park..? Or similar. Morrisons won't let me stop over night... So your help will be appreciated. Roy

do they have a cattle market,?

We always stop at Helmsley, I don't know if that helps? There's a car park at Helmsley with dedicated overnight motorhome parking.

Others may know But there was I think? a truck stop around about where the Reed Bordall factory was. Trouble is so many have closed.

Edit;- Just looked on G-Earth. I forget that section is new(ish). And the truck stop would have been on what is now the A168.

There's a new truck stop just off the A1M about quarter of a mile from the Leaming Services. Easy access with fuel and plenty of space. Its well signed from the motorway. Probably be a charge.

Thanks everyone for your help.. I will check up on all your recommendations. Roy.

Not sure if it is too far away for you but you can stay overnight at Thirsk Auction Mart car park- they charge £5 overnight there is a security guard and often wagons staying overnight

Found a place that allows motorhomes. Back Lane Car park. Right in the centre of Boroughbridge. Free parking with toilets... So that's where I will pass the night. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Check out bri t stops, you don't always have to prove membership as long as you spend on meals.
