Just bought this book (it was very quickly despatched by Vicarious Books)....
I struggled with the other Aire Books....not due to being in French either....
BUT this book is just the BEST!!
A joy to use, clear concise details ...just everything you could possibly wish for.
How we wish we had had this book the very first time we travelled down through France (and only found ONE aire!! )
Highly recommended ..thank you Vicarious Books!! :thumb: Ana x

Thanks for the heads-up Ana.

Just off to order my copy now.

Cheers

Paul

Camperstop.then down load POI`s

:Eek!: If you had got this book and you have sat nav you can down load POI`s and use it with the book ,if you like the look of the Aire then just press go on your sat nav and it will take to it.john:

we have this book and have used it several times.

Although the book is clear and easy it does not yet cover all the aires. We have seen many that are not in the book. We have sent these off so hopefully as the years go by the book will cover a lot more.
beats learning french though

Fantastic Book

Ana

We are back from France a few weeks ago and used this book during our 3 weeks there. I would say to any motorcaravaner who is going to France this book is essentail if he or she wants to get the best Aires. This book saved us a lot of money as during the 3 weeks there we only used sites on 2 occasions.

The early version I own has got the gps coordinates in non decimal format so its not that useful for me. Has the newer version got decimal gps coordinates?

Not sure which are decimal gps or not .....excuse ignorance!! :Rofl1:
However, this is an example from latest book, if this helps.....
N4847.942'W00335.016'......too early to find the symbol for "degrees" on my laptop ....lol, I'll quit whilst I'm ahead...!!!
