Never stop learning 😊
1500 miles to Orkney and back - not a scratch. 20 miles from home a stone flew up and hit the bonnet leaving a visible dent that has gone all the way through the paintwork, irritating on a brand new van  (just glad it did not get the windscreen). Not a fan of the fabric-type bonnet bras, so once I have repaired the damage am thinking about one of these and wondered if anyone has experience/opinions?

thanks

Fitted one to our Delaware. Did the job well but...stores leaves and stuff when in storage. Becomes a bit of a bugger to clean out properly afterwards. Can mark the bonnet so be careful 🧐
Look on select motorhome site. I think it's still on there ? Simon just sold it but the pictures are available

Thanks for that, very helpful.

It seems that whatever protector is used, they need to come off regularly for cleaning underneath?

Yes. The black one you are looking at is held on by stainless scres and clips with rubber pads on. They still can mark the bonnet especially if you are a little over careful with tightening up ! They do work though.
😉👍

Have bought Airplex headlight protectors from Vancomfort before & all good so rate the brand & the supplier but haven't tried that product.
