This is an example of some spare blind hooks I bought. The two u-shapes slide either side of the track which has a slit in it. Is it intended that these hooks can be inserted with the rail in-situ or does one have to disassemble the motorhome to slide the hooks on from an exposed end of the rail. The u-shaped end is pretty rigid. It’s not obvious to me that it can be compressed to fit into the groove.

Not any experience of that particular rail but in another one, I put them in at 90 degrees and gave them a quarter twist to line them up correctly.
might be worth a go if it hasn’t been tried yet.
