At present we stop on a site every 2/3 days mostly to get rid of our 2x black waste containers . Is there any other legal and environmentally safe way of disposing of it?

It would not be illegal to empty down a public toilet and environmentally safe particularly if you don't use the nasty blue chemical stuff.
Please make sure to clean up after yourselves in the toilet, you may be able to leave it cleaner than when you went in!

I'm happy to use the public loos we come across on our daily travels.
Although we no longer use chemicals only bio liquid
We usually only need to empty ours ever 3-4 days. We don't use the flush only a spray of dilute bio liquid.

I believe one of the UK clubs has a day rate on some sites, just to use the facilities.

We did this on a small village aire, which had a toilet but no emptying point. We left it in pristine condition, but shortly afterwards a French van used it for the same purpose leaving it in a pretty disgusting state. Well its their country and at least it was clean for half an hour.
