Just another follow up to the post i started the other day about what kind of trailer to go for ....i have been doing further research and been on the Armitages website.... reading their excellent write up on the different systems it appears i can have their Motorcycle rack bolted to my tag axle Alko chassis which is suitable for up to 200kg, i already have one of their substantial towbars attached to my chassis..... anyone else out there using one of these racks/carriers ..
 
No, but tag axles tend to have very long overhangs so, if you hang anything close to 200Kg on the rack, it’s unlikely you’d stay within your rear axle loading.

I think that there may be a spreadsheet calculator in the resources section that you could try.

Not sure what bike you're looking to carry, but make sure you check the kerb weight rather than the dry weight

Also, don't forget your overall weight will be increased by not just the weight of the bike & overhang (as posted above) there is also the weight of helmets, bike gear, tools etc to be added
