Hi
For reasons too complicated to go into, we'll be spending Christmas eve on our van on our son's drive, and will be using the dinette bed for the first time.(Well, our daughter will...) So, trying to put this up this afternoon and I have a question.. The table in the cabin attaches to a lower bracket on the side of the van to form part of the bed base, and uses a short stubby leg to support itself (rather then the long leg it uses when it's a table). But there's only one stubby leg, at the front of the table, leaving the back of the table unsupported. The front of the bench seat frame has a sort of a ledge that the back back of the table almost rests on, but I don't think it's actually designed to do that, as it doesn't align naturally and I don't want to force it.
The unsupported bit of the table ends up in the middle of the bed base, so it may just be that it doesn't really need any more support, but at the same time I don't want to risk snapping anything if it is missing a leg of some kind.
Any Bessie 454 (or similar) owners out their who use theirs regularly that could comment / advise?
Thanks in advance..
Chris
