Can anyone explain please what it means when you receive a notification that a member is "now following you"?
Is it something to be concerned over, particularly if you have never conversed or interacted with said member?
This is the second time I have had such a notification in 4 days from 2 separate members, whom I don't know.
Could it be a pressed button by mistake to set up such a thing?
I do not, nor ever have, or wish to do so in future, followed anyone on a forum.
Very confused, if not slightly unnerved by this.
Thanks.

Don't worry about it your safe.

I've just found that I have 2 followers, don't remember any notifications though
Found out how to do it, it could be a simple mistake.
Not worried as no MY lurking outside 😀😁😀😁

When someone finds a thread or post they like they can click interest in that post/thread even person and follow that interest.

If or when they decide to not follow they can un-follow any interest.

And yes its only within this forum.

click on your avatar, then on your name, if on phone move to right, looking for ‘about’ then at bottom of page it shows your follower 🤔😁
Thanks. Did not know about any of that.
Possibly too much info methinks!
May have to revisit.

Sorry, pilot error. Quoted myself.
It's past my bed time.
Either that or I am getting old.

Now I have a double avatar, a small letter c has appeared at the bottom and outside of my main avatar letter C.
Help!

1.9 TD 2001 immobiliser problem

you replied

I have a fiat Ducato 1.9 td on a 2000/2001 motorhome with an alarm and immobiliser but I belive they were retro fitted.
What make is your immobiliser?
Mine can work on either fob or keypad entry.

So Tomcat either thought he’d keep an eye on a kindred spirits posts or I’ll pop to Nottinghamshire and kill Captain Yoghurtpot in the wee small hours.

My moneys on the former

Is the Bullseye Target still on your back?. "following" is a way of keeping track on a particular subject, flags it up again if someone responds.

With a forum name like you have it is inevitable that you will attract the curious 🤔😁👍
Change to Mr Boring might avoid followers. captain Yoghurtpot is a great name. Interested to know where it derives from

worked I. A yoghurt factory perhaps?

Yes , but my response was only sent AFTER I was informed I had a follower and I had a look at who they were and then thought I might be able to assist with their problem.
But as I am now much better informed as to what’s what, I am again, a Happy Camper and no longer paranoid!😊
I blame Lockdown!🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😂

I have previously explained under a thread relating to an unfortunate lady who was using her motorhome for “extra curricular activities”, if you get my drift.

Never knew that, but one thing I have found but still don't know how it happened, is I sometimes find I am ignoring someone when a message comes up , view ignored content, and I have never tried to ignore anyone so I must of pressed something unintentionally.
What is it.

I have had the same a couple of times, but like you I don’t ignore anybody, plus when I click on ‘view ignored’ nothing changed 🤔
