Bedroom skylight leaking

As above skylight leakng any ideas? Not had chance to have a look been too wet. What is usual problem sealing mastic?

usual cause is as you say mastic only sure way is to remove and rebed the skylight while waiting for better weather i would duct tape it

Cheers if it dries up today i will jump up and have a look

Maybe an idea to put photo of skylight on here so people know what sort it is.

I'd jump up there now and dry it off then bodge a load of gaffer tape around it for now.
