BBq connector - not bullfinch

We have a gaslow system in our Chausson and my husband is not keen to put a bullfinch connector in and would ideally like to have a T piece within the gas locker which will connect to our Cadac safari. Has anyone does this before? If so where did you get the fittings?

We had a quick release one in our old van - it looked something like this and was in our gas locker ....
