I am in the process of fitting some extra batteries and am looking for a floor mounted battery tray with a clamp to hold the batteries down, it must be a low profile type Ie one that grips the bottom edge of the battery with a clamp and bolt, not a strap or bracket that goes over the top of the battery I have looked on eBay but they all seem to be hold down hook type with long hooked bolts.

Steve, I think they are called bay window battery trays.

😉 I did have the disadvantage Steve, all my searches are Spanish web sites. 😁
I was going to say or make one. Bob.

Funny you should say that Bob I have a nice piece of ally and my pal has a press so may yet be an option as even the one on here would need 20 mm trimming off to fit perfectly.

I fitted two of these under my driver's seat earlier in the year, to accommodate larger batteries than originally fitted, and improve on the original battery fixing, which consisted of a webbing strap fixed to the floor pan by two self-tapping screws.

They are well made. I had to overlap them by raising the height of the rear tray, as the new batteries only just fited between the seat frame as long as the hold-down moulding on the casings overlapped - side by side was a no go. That meant I had to cut a section out of the back of the higher tray, to allow access to the hold down plate on the lower tray, and also cut back the leading corners of the front tray to fit around the seat frame legs, but I'me very pleased with the result and very happy with the trays (y)
